General Understandings

You and I are partners in your health care

In your journey to optimal health, each of us has a responsibility. You are in control of your health and it is your job to report your symptoms as thoroughly as possible. Only you can share your unique experience. My job is to interpret the data provided and apply my medical experience and training to understand what is causing these symptoms and provide you with an integrative natural medicine treatment recommendation.

It is important for you to take responsibility of your health

The only way to sustainable and improved health is if you can become your own health advocate. My goal with every patient is to achieve a level of wellness where you no longer need regular appointments with me. In order to get there, I will provide you with copies of your labs, teach you foundational elements of wellness, and instruct you on the causes of your condition(s) so you can be proactive with your health needs.

It is important that you provide me with all available pertinent medical information

In order to serve you best it is important to see all relevant blood and laboratory diagnostic testing that you have done. Please list me as one of your physicians to receive copies of all of your lab work (both past and future). I will call you to talk about your labs even if everything appears to be “normal” as these values can be quite different from “optimal” values.
